Introduction

“Many years ago, my grandfather started his own business. My
father followed in his footsteps and started his own business. 15 years ago I
started my first car build. I’ve been a Subaru fan and automotive enthusiast
ever since. Many builds later, I realized there needs to be a better way to get
automotive parts. So now, I am starting my own business. Not just for myself,
but for everyone. I want to provide all the best parts at an affordable price,
as fast as possible.”

Why We Started

We are called Hillbilly Speed Shop because we are in the
heart of the Tennessee hills. My father built a facility to restore old
classics, and we asked a friend of mine to help make a logo. Thus, Hillbilly
Classic Restoration was born. I helped work on a few of the classics, but my
goal at the time was to build a fast Subaru. After working at a few dealerships in the automotive industry, I felt it was time for a change of pace. Instead of working on customer cars, I wanted to pursue more motorsports. I realized it’s difficult to get good parts on the east coast quickly. We needed to get parts and store them in house. HILLBILLY SPEED SHOP became a new branch of the Hillbilly name.

Future.

The plan is to create a network of the best high performance automotive parts on the East coast. To reduce the long lead times of parts and to give you the best place to get them. HILLBILLY SPEED SHOP will work tirelessly to achieve the goals we set for ourselves. It will be a long  process and we appreciate your patience and understanding if we make mistakes. We can’t wait to visit everyone at upcoming car meets and build a community with you all.
